NO SHOWS/LATE CANCEL POLICY:

Effective June 1, 2024. No Shows and Cancellations: any appointment not cancelled more than 24 hours before appointment time is $35.00 per missed appointment. This includes self-pay and all insurance policy holder including Medicaid.

Please understand how important it is to call and cancel your appointment if you will not be able to make it so we can use that appointment time for other sick patients.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PATIENT CARE -
To all of the Amarillo Children’s Clinic parents and patients,
After long consideration, we have decided that we are no longer going to see patients at the hospitals.  Our call group has decreased in size, and we no longer have the support we need to continue seeing patients in the hospital.  As of today, our patients will be cared for by the hospitalist services at NWTH and BSA.  At NWTH, the Texas Tech hospitalist service will begin caring for Dr. Scott’s patients as they have been caring for Dr. Medford’s patients for the past few years.  At BSA, Dr. Kelly Clements, who is the Neonatologist in charge of the BSA NICU, and her team of nurse practitioners will be caring for our patients in the nursery.  On the BSA pediatric floor, Dr. Nandu Raghuram and Dr. Kerrie Pinkney, who are both Pediatric ICU physicians, will be taking care of our inpatients.  We know that our patients will be well taken care of by this very experienced group of physicians, and they will keep us up to date on our patients so that we can continue their care in the outpatient setting.  We are expanding our hours in the clinic to be able to serve you better.  We also will have a new nurse triage service available after hours to help answer any questions you may have about your child.  Again this was a very difficult decision to make, and we want all of our patients to receive the very best care.  We feel very privileged to care for all of your children.
